Start/Select Episode 10

I’ve just had the distinct pleasure of setting Start/Select live on GameSpot, and after some technical jiggery-pokery, it’s now on the site. Check out the embedded video below, or head over to the site to download for iPod or to leave a comment.
The highlight of my career

Kudos to Alex for bothering to read this month’s NGamer magazine, as it featured the Guinness World Record Cosplay attempt that we covered on Start/Select a month ago. So far, so standard print delay, but the feature’s actually notable for picking me and Alex out and labeling us as ‘jerks’.
Being slagged off by print journos? I’ve finally made it!
Love the new GTA IV advert
Posted by guycocker in video games on April 18, 2008
This UK TV advert for GTA IV is brilliant, not only because it features LCD Soundsystem, but also because it’s unlike any other game ad I’ve seen before. Kudos to Microsoft for investing in it, although I imagine it’ll be worth their while financially.

My Gaming Setup

I’m reviewing Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 on Wii from home today, so I thought I’d take a photo of my home gaming setup. Note the two Wiis (one is my housemate’s) and the abundance of cabling bursting through the cabinet. Oh, and the 37-inch 1080p Toshiba LCD TV.
